Brad and I figured Eva would get more enjoyment out of painting her pumpkin since she wouldn't be allowed to do the actual carving yet (we're saving that for when she is 2 :)) She was so excited to be painting her pumpkin. Now, every time we come to our doorstep and she sees her pumpkin she yells out "pumpkin!" in her toddler language. She is very proud of her artistic abilities.
Cute idea! We didn't make it to a pumpkin patch this year:( The time went by so fast and things were hectic! But I'm gonna totally do this next year with the kiddos. Thanks for the idea:)
ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea. I'm sure Hailey would have enjoyed that. I was super lame this year and didn't buy any pumpkins. Maybe next year!
